I had an opportunity to create a postcard for the opening of the new location in my hometown that guests can take as a gift! The museum celebrates the many shades of Chicago and is designed in partnership with an exceptional roster of local collaborators.

My goals was to expose this literary icon to a new generation. “I was completely energized when I first saw Brittany Harris’s updated, colorful, hip, and sexy interpretations of the characters in my novels,” McMillian raved. “I might read them again!”
I was thrilled to be a part of National Women’s Law Center’s first-ever virtual gala in 2020. NWLC’s annual gala brings together thought leaders and advocates for women’s rights together every year. Normally we’d be in a big room together in D.C., greeting old friends and making new ones and celebrating the victories we’ve achieved, but this moment was just as special.

The mission at Archer and Olive is to create purposeful products and experiences to improve mental health through creativity. Secondly, to invite art and creativity into the conversation about mental health in the wellness world (even for those who don't consider themselves creative).
I created an illustration for NPR Life Kit about the importance of birth plans. This episode highlighted how birth plans empower parents to make informed decisions about what's happening to their bodies and their babies.
Throughout history, Black communities have been disproportionately punished by marijuana criminalization. Even in a time when marijuana is being legalized, we still struggle to receive justice for past iniquities and to be included in the multimillion dollar industry. It was an honor to create these designs because there are still so many families being impacted by cannabis criminalization. Let’s continue to fight for the justice and reparations our communities deserve!
I created illustrations for Tampax Radiant's The "Radiant Experience at YardFest" - an interactive educational experience conceptualized and executed by HBCU alumnae. The installation made stops at 14 HBCU homecoming and provided a safe space for period education.
